A man who shot someone while wearing a gorilla mask learned his sentence Tuesday.
Tony Lamar Bouie, 53, will have to spend 30 years in prison.
Fort Myers police arrested Bouie after he robbed and shot a man in June, according to the State Attorney's Office. The victim survived the shooting.
Bouie's gorilla mask slipped off long enough for the victim to figure out who he was. Surveillance cameras also captured the crime.
According to an official news release from the SAO, Bouie also sold cocaine to an undercover officer at a different time.
Back in April, Fort Myers police officers responded when he got in an argument with his neighbors. They found him to illegally be in possession of a gun as a convicted felon.
Bouie has been arrested more than a dozen times in Lee County.
